Apple Advertising Identifier 01/14/2013

New game rules for personalized advertising on Apple’s mobile devices

The release of Apple’s own "Advertising Identifier" presents the mobile advertising world with a new challenge, as the identification options which have been used so far may no longer be valid in the App Store. Furthermore, the end user will be able to decide whether they receive personalized advertising in the future.

With the ADTECH Mobile SDK you continue to remain on the safe side. We already support Apple’s identifier and can confidently assure you that personalized advertising will only be prevented with the express involvement of the user.

Incidentally, did you know that through the implementation of new guidelines, users can now, for the first time, be identified on a device across multiple apps and can therefore be anonymously recognized?
